| RODS 1974 HQ STATESMAN DEVILLE 1974 This Statesman was built in Sydney on 28th June 1974. It was purchased new from Dowlings Motors Swan Hill (GMH dealer) on the 19th July 1974 by the local Mobil dealer Jimmy Roberts. 1979 The car was traded back to Dowlings Motors at approx 25,000km and Gary Lennon who was a mechanic working there purchased it. The vehicle remained in the same family for the next 30 years. 2009 I purchased the car in the condition it is now with 188000km on the clock. The vehicle was a daily driver until I took delivery in August 2009. It and has never been out of registration and still has the original rego number. The future. Ground up resto in about 5 years. |
