What a great day, perfect weather, 24 degrees and nice sea breeze. I have
never been on a mystery run and after today i am looking forward to the next
my co pilot was Charlie my 12 year old son, we met at the club rooms at
8.30 am along with a total of 14 cars and around 30 members and family, my
hat go off to Matthew and partner Nicole for organizing a great event, it
must have taken some time to map and plan the run, we were handed a sheet of
paper and to Charlie delight a box of lollys, away we went (with a
push from the churchys for pinching their car park) , we covered a fair bit
of Geelong , rural areas, and costal alike whilst answering questions along
the way, a little birdie tells me only 1 car got a bit bushed (hey Wolfgang
nice hz)
We finished up finding the bbq trailer and waited for the 14 cars to
arrive, Brett again fired up the bbq of snags hamburgers and dim Sims, Rob
final arrived in the hk 3 hours later and Matt gathered us together
for the outcome of the run. |

Few of the prizes handed out were 6 packs for the most accurate kays
travelled...our old cars Speedos mustn't be the best as all the 1990 +++
cars won these....the funniest answer which was how many blades in the
windmill....dont know the bloody thing was spinning too fast... and most questions answered.
Kev and family hit the best dressed car and it was well deserved a very
nice eh it is indeed, the runner up for the day was David and family in the
ek sedan and the big prize went to rob and co pilot Paul in the hk prem (
they should have lost points for taking so long lol), hope they have a nice
romantic tea together at fisherman's pier .
All up $300 bucks were handed out in prizes for the day thanks to the
club, i didn't win any ,but i did pinch a snake lolly off
Charlie so i didnt go away empty handed...... .
