186s inline strait six.
stage 2 head 40/60 duration cam
ww2 stromburg carby and
headers. A single exhaust running to a
twin outlet.
Danny Has owned this
now for over 22 years.
it started its life as a hk and due to extreme rust
he had to source another shell.
After hunting around he come across a very strait and
rust free hg.
As all the running gear, chrome and interior were not available
on the hg shell so
he had to take all the gear off the hk and transplant it over.
The trim bonnet and seats are still hk.
The monaro has had a very busy life of
doing a full lap
around Australia and back and forth from Geelong to Alice
about 10 times. She was a daily drive for 18 years.
But now due the high demand of monaros she only comes
out on weekends and club cruises
The monaro was
freshened up about 4 years back by Fin Morrison a very talented
painter here in Geelong.
We didn't go back to bare metal but just a freshen up, down the
track when the kids have grown a bit, a complete over hall might
be on the cards.
