2011   COLAC CAR SHOW   .......... more photos here (open in new tab as there is no home button)                                  colac car show...we won best club display..yipeeeeee we had 13 cars sow up at the Warne ponds bottle shop  bright and early ..7.15 am and away we went lead by rob in the hk prem.  the weather was ideal and after so much rain the week before we couldn't have asked for a better day, there was one truck that thought he was in the movie (duel) he wanted to take on every one and near  ran kev in the aussie 6 off the road and  took my bumper out.  We were given a nice patch of grass in a nice shady area.  (take note of shady area for later referance)   I would estimate over 200 cars turned up for the day including an unnamed member, who thought parking near the band was better than with us.  (how are your ears Matt??)  Later in the day whist having lunch, we were interrupted by a cracking noise  followed by a whooshing and a thump, one of the shady trees decided to throw a nice size branch off, strait onto a nice Harley Davidson out on the street, around 10 SES volunteers showed up to slowly chop it up and find the Harley, the owner showed up and pulled it out showing ripped saddle bags, seat and scored paint and fuel tank, the handle bars were pointing to the ground, he bent them back up started it up and away he went, he did win a trophy for the day....  all in all it was a great day, and to win a trophy for the club was an added bonus, thanks to the member for making the effort for showing up.. blissy
