COBURG DRIVE INN
With
storm clouds imminent, it came down to a last minute decision to proceed
with the night as planned. It was perfect. With two clubs in attendance and
a lonely Ford following from afar, totaling approx 18 cars we headed for the
Coburg Drive Inns.
Some
confusion about getting there, however with the mud maps at hand and a few
sat navs, everyone finally made it in time for the session start.
The
need for a FM station to tune into the movie, made it challenging for some
of the old girls (and Holden’s as well). However with the aid of the
cinemas providing battery powered radios we were set.
Johnny
English was the movie of choice and a great night was had by all...with deck
chairs, good company, some new faces, which was great to see. Hamburgers,
hotdogs, popcorn, large drinks and choc tops topped off a night of memories
which was reminiscent of times past.
