                                                    Australia day run 2011
What a fantastic Australia day with great company
and cars, around 15 cars made an appearance and
20 odd members, meeting at 9am turned out well, as
most of us got to park together, right behind a van with a
sleeping family in the back of their caravan.
By 10.30 there was so many cars, they were parking
on the road and our 10.30 take off time, to see the freshly painted
ute was not looking good.
The family in the caravan awoke and must have thought they
steps strait out into 1970, with over 200 old cars parked all around them.
Final at 11am movement was seen, and we were away at 11.30.
We had a quick detour to Bretts to see the freshly painted ute, and
for Rob to hook the trailor up to his prem.
Queenscliff was the choice for the bbq and we got a great shady area
under some trees. Thanks to Rod, Wendy  and my wife for bringing along
a few salads to go with the snags, hamburgers and dimmies.
After a great filling lunch and a look around at the many cars, a few
of us went for a walk around the new marine and the huge stingrays
hovering around.
cheers for those who made it along...
