Whilst still in its relative infancy, this day is fast becoming one of Victoria's premiere car shows, this year boasting entrant numbers pushing the 500 mark and crowd attendance figures in the thousands.

To all the sponsors who came on board last year, thank you again for your support of our event and we look forward in anticipation to continuing our partnership into the future.

We would also like to extend thanks to all those who attended (both entrants and general public). Without you the Geelong Holden Day would not have become the success that it has over the past few years.

At present we have not as yet confirmed a date for the show, but keep your eyes on this spot for updates.

(Due to the increasing popularity of the Geelong Holden Day and the limited positions, those interested in either sponsoring or trading at the event in 2009 are urged to contact the club asap to avoid disappointment.)

****All New GM Display****

This year we are also inviting all owners of GM vehicles (1948 - 2007) to participate in a static display. So bring along your Chevs, Oldsmobiles, Pontiacs and Buicks and join the fun.

***Entertainment***

We are again looking to have entertainment for the whole family with activities for the kids and a band, not to mention the running commentary and entertainment of Pinky throughout the day.

***Charity Dollars***

As in the past we are donating a percentage of the proceeds to a local charity. This year we have chosen the Our Women Our Children Volunteers. The Our Women Our Children Volunteers are unique in that it is solely run by Volunteers with all money donated back to the Hospital. The money donated from the Holden Day will be put towards a new piece of equipment for the Ante Natal and Paediatric Wards of the Barwon Health Geelong Hospital and also to help establish the Paediatric Unit of the new Emergency Department.

Please remember that the more sponsorship dollars, the more entrants and the more public through the gate will provide more dollars for the club to donate.
