Club Profile

Established in 1978, our club caters for all fx-to hz including torana and wb ’model Holden's.  We have approximately 70 members and boast a range of fx through to hz in a wide variety from stock standard to highly modified vehicles.  Our club meets at 7.30pm on the first Monday of the month .(except January) at the Bay Room, Cnr. Boundary Rd and Bellarine Hwy, East Geelong starting at 7.30pm. application form Visitors are always welcome. contact the club

Newsletter
The Club offers a Monthly Newsletter, which comes out at the monthly meetings.  Any member not present at the meeting will be sent a copy via email.  Monthly advertising in the Newsletter is available for a minimal fee per annum.  But one-off ‘for sale’ and ‘wanted’ ads can be placed for free as long as they meet the publishing deadline. 

Social Events and Outings
As well as regular monthly meetings, our club run coordinator organizes outings once a month.  These outings can be as simple as a nice picnic in the park.  But we also frequent some Car Shows in the area such as the Flemmington Holden day, Torquay rotary and the Geelong Holden Day.   and swap meet. These are annual events and are always enjoyable outings for the Club. .

 

 

 

 

 		 

 

Club has purchased a tandem car trailer for use by members $20 per day

Incentives
Incentives for members to participate in Club events exist in the ‘Point Score’ system and the ‘Run Prize’ which will start daylight saving time.

   Point Score:  Get 10 points for attendance at each meeting or run, get a bonus 10 points for bringing your fx-hz to a meeting and a bonus 20 points for bringing your fx-hz to a Club Run.  We will tally the points up at the end of daylight savings and trophies will go out to the highest tallied members.

 

Club Plate Registrar 
 In order to obtain a club permit, you first be a member of a car club that can be a part of issuing the club permit. Vic Roads has a list of all authorized car clubs, so you have to prove that you are a member of an authorized club by having the appropriate forms filled out, and providing membership details. more info here permits
