I purchased this old girl in October 2007, I had one as a young guy, my 1 st thought was to get a GTS monaro,
which I also had as a young guy.
Things quickly change when i saw how much the where going for and settled for Australians answer to the '57 chev.

Things quickly change when i saw how much the where going for and settled for Australians answer to the '57 chev.
She arrived, fitter with a red 186s trimatic, Hr disk brake front end, hadfield chassis and generous amounts of rust, bog and duct tape. And a trailer load of spare panels.
The work started stripping it to metal, welding, grinding and blasting the rust and paint sadly sending it off for commercial blasting was out side the budget.
She is currently at the undercoat stage and i wont be painting her until later in the year.
So its on to rewiring and mechanical items, at this stage i will be retaining the 186 and trimatic, maybe a V6 at a later stage.
Im still undecided on the final colour my daughter says candy apple red .. No way, i say, most likely factory colours yellow and white.
