35TH ANNIVERSARY                 Our club held its 35th Anniversary at White Eagle House on 3rd June 2011. In attendance were roughly 100 people which included past members who were in the club right back to the beginning of the Holden Club, Current Members, Sponsors, Our charity 'Our Women Our Children' and Fletch who kindly took on the last  minute role of MC for the night. Thanks Fletch!  The evening kicked off with a two course meal and drinks enjoyed by all, there were some presentations awarded to members by Dan, and some lucky  attendees won some door prizes. For desert we had a special 35th Anniversary cake made and there was even a massive photo board display  of members and their cars and club events dating back from 1976 to the current day for all to see.  The Car Club kids competed in a colouring competition  and even the two Dan's got in on the act winning prizes for the best colouring in entry.    The past members all enjoyed catching up with others they had not seen in years and reminiscing about the early days of the FX-FJ club as it was known back in 1976.  We also heard speeches from Ron, Laurie and Brett who shared their memories and funny stories about the club over the years.  The band 'Under the Covers' then kicked in at 8:30pm.  The evening finished up about 11pm and a good night was had by all.       PHOTOS HERE
